 In News

Richard Morris will renew his relationship with Revolution Race Cars in 2023 and will compete across Europe in the manufacturer’s latest 500+ bhp supercharged V6 carbon fibre prototype – the Revolution SC500.

Richard first joined Revolution as a works driver ahead of the 2022 season. Great success followed, with Richard contesting 8 races achieving 7 podium finishes, 3 pole positions, and 2 wins. As a Driver Ambassador for Racing Pride, Richard also welcomed roughly 60 LGBTQ+ guests to the paddock across 4 different European countries, including hosting a full Pride party in June at Silverstone circuit alongside his racing.

In 2023 Richard will compete with Revolution in the European Sports Prototype Cup. He also plans to race in the Dutch Supercar Challenge and to drive the world-famous hill at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Richard will welcome Racing Pride members as guests at his races, proudly continuing his work to promote LGBTQ+ inclusion.

Richard will again be supported by his loyal sponsors GayRealEstate.com, Lane Wire Belts, Vroom Media, and GLJtech. He will also be joined this year by new sponsors APEXone. He will continue to be an ambassador for Racing Pride as well as for Athlete Ally.

Looking ahead to the season, Richard said: “The Revolution SC500 is a spectacular car giving incredible levels of performance. Having worked with Revolution through the 2022 season, I am excited to continue to develop my relationship with this manufacturer. The provisional season calendar contains some brilliant tracks – 6 Grand Prix circuits across 5 European countries. I can’t wait to see what we can achieve together on track in 2023. Both Revolution and the Sports Prototype Cup have been enormously supportive of my work to champion LGBTQ+ inclusion as well, and I love bringing people together around my races so that’s really something to look forward to. I am extremely grateful to my sponsors for helping to make this season possible.”

Richard’s provisional 2023 race calendar is:

12-13 March 2023: Circuit De Barcelona-Catalunya, Spain – Sports Prototype Cup
20-21 May 2023: Silverstone Circuit, England – Sports Prototype Cup
17-18 June 2023: Donington Park Circuit, England – Sports Prototype Cup
